A massive WELL DONE to all the pupils who took part in the Schools Sports Hall Athletics Competition at Leeds Road Barn on Friday, 25th January. The children were up against the odds from the start after only being given 4 DAYS' NOTICE about the event, due to another school dropping out. Without much time for preparation at all, Reinwood Junior School came 6th out of 16 schools, which is an amazing achievement given the circumstances. The pupils represented the school to a very high standard - not only on the track and field but also off of them - with their brilliant teamwork and encouragement shown towards each other throughout. The pupils were a credit to themselves and the school and they all thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their fantastic talents.

Match Reports

Reinwood Girl Power Leads To Victory
The Reinwood Year 5 and 6 girls were involved in two brilliantly contested matches on Thursday, 21st September. The first game saw them win 3-1 against a very good Christ Church team, with excellent performances all round.

The second game saw us take on a really strong St Patrick’s team, whose striker was showing some amazing skills and, if it wasn’t for our well-timed tackling and some amazing saves from goalkeeper Ruby, St Patrick's may have won the game on another day. But at the other end, Reinwood showed some tremendous dribbling and shooting skills of their own that helped them score three goals, one of which was a powerful strike into the top corner from Paris. Two games and two wins signals a great start for Reinwood and the wins were very well deserved. Well done, girls.
